The journal concentrates on endovascular and hybrid bleeding control and resuscitation science and evidance, along with technical and clinical cases from real world data. We will share knoledge and expereice from around the world from the resident to the attending phisician level. The editorial board consist of highely expreienced researchers/clinicians and in a multidisciplinary manner in a unique platform.
JEVTM is indexed by SCOPUS and WEB OF SCIENCE.
JEVTM is the official publication of the EVTM society and published by Örebro Univeristy Hospital. We aim at high academic and scientific practice and the moto of the EVTM society: “no ego, just good science and collaboration”. The detailed information about ethical guidlines and the journal aims, scope and management can be seen in the following sections.
To achieve this, we do not wish to be bound by medical discipline, country, resource or even the conventional rules of medical publishing. To achieve this goal, we have assembled an Editorial Board of clinicians and scientists who are experts within the field. This project is generously supported by a grant from the Department of Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery, Orebro University Hospital, Sweden.
We are keen to receive manuscript submissions that present new original findings, review important topics or educate our readers on any aspect of hemorrhage control, where an endovascular technique has been employed. This can either be in isolation or in combination with open surgical techniques (hybrid surgery). Please see the section “For Authors”.
As the subject of hemorrhage and bleeding is a common problem across many medical disciplines, we encourage submissions from all specialties: vascular, trauma, acute care, obstetrics, emergency medicine, to mention a few.
The Journal will be published every four months and will be truly Open Access. There will be no article processing charges or publishing fees. All articles will be published online and indexed using a digital object identifier. The Archives can be found on www.jevtm.com under journals and are there with no time or access limitations. The journal follows strict guidlines for peer-review medical journal and more information can be found below.
