Artificial Intelligence Textbook of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery
We are pleased to announce the publication of a landmark new resource on the JEVTM platform:
The AI Textbook of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery, the first vascular surgery textbooks to be written, structured, and continuously updated with the support of advanced AI systems. And, the first ever medicine textbook done by AI!
This innovative research project brings together traditional surgical expertise and modern computational tools to create a dynamic, evidence-based reference designed for today’s rapidly evolving vascular field. The book integrates current clinical guidelines, including the latest 2025 ESVS recommendations, and incorporates data from major trials, registries, and contemporary literature. Topics span the full spectrum of vascular disease—from aortic and peripheral aneurysms to mesenteric ischemia, trauma, venous disorders, and endovascular techniques.

ℹ️ About EVTM
All EVTM activities are organized by the EVTM team at Örebro University Hospital and the EVTM Society.
Visit the Society section to learn more.
🌎 The Pan American EVTM branch fosters collaboration in both South and North America. We welcome professionals across disciplines—vascular, trauma, critical care, prehospital, and more—to join our global efforts.
🔄 All EVTM initiatives are non-profit, built on science, collaboration, and a shared goal: improving clinical care in hemodynamic instability and bleeding control.
🛠️ Why Join an EVTM Workshop?
Because it’s more than a course—it’s a collaborative, multidisciplinary platform built by experts.
Unlike standard REBOA courses, EVTM workshops cover the full scope of bleeding control and resuscitation:
• Endovascular & hybrid techniques
• Real-world clinical scenarios
• Trauma and non-trauma indications
• Practical, hands-on learning and debate
🕊️ EVTM Without Borders – Supporting Ukraine
The war in Ukraine affects us all. We are launching the EVTM Without Borders initiative to offer support through education, collaboration, and resources.
We believe EVTM can help save lives in conflict and crisis zones.

We are pleased to announce the publication of a landmark new resource on the JEVTM platform:
Artificial Intelligence Textbook of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery, The first (medical) vascular surgery textbooks to be written, structured, and continuously updated with the support of advanced AI systems.
Our goal is to explore a new model for medical publishing:
fast, iterative, transparent, and directly aligned with the best available evidence.
We invite clinicians, trainees, and researchers to access the textbook, provide feedback, and join us in shaping its next iterations. As with all JEVTM educational projects, the content is freely available to the global vascular community.

Mini-EVTM Virtual Workshop
The aim of this live virtual workshop is to stimulate discussion, mutual learning while practicing EndoVascular resuscitation and Trauma Management (EVTM) using a multidisciplinary team approach. Several virtual workshops were conducted via Zoom by the EVTM team in Örebro and became a huge success. Other centers were encouraged to participate and share experience to explore different methods for resuscitation, bleeding control and trauma management.
By now done in collaboration with India, Israel, Thailand, Chile and others. Sharing knoledge and mutual learning!
If you /your center is interested in a mini-EVTM live tissue virtual workshop, contact either: tal.horer@regionorebrolan.se david.mcgreevy@regionorebrolan.se
